Graystone Church Family,
In recent days we’ve seen civil unrest across our nation, especially in Charlotte, North Carolina. It has spilled over into our community, and we are experiencing racial tension at Archer High School. Our response to all of this is to LOVE and PRAY.
LOVE. The greatest commandment is to love God and love people. You have heard me say a million times: “We want to DOMINATE our community with the LOVE of Jesus.” This is a great opportunity to love our neighbors. We love our community, we love Archer High School, and we love EVERYONE. Our response is to love others as Christ has loved us.
PRAY. I have been told that the best thing we can do for Archer High School is to pray. Many Archer parents and students are gathering today at 3:00PM at the Archer Flag Pole to pray. I am planning to be there to pray, and I would like to invite you to join us. If you cannot be there, please stop wherever you are and pray for Archer.
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and PRAY and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgivetheir sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
