We are approaching the final night of Sports Camp at Graystone Church. It has been a phenomenal week. I’ve had the privilege of just “hanging out” and soaking it all in. I am “utterly amazed” at what God is doing in and through our church. It truly is UNBELIEVABLE (Habakkuk 1:5).
We have 800-900 kids (kindergarten through 5th graders) participating in Sports Camp and 400 volunteers loving and serving them on 2 CAMPUSES. That’s right, we have two Sports Camps this year and both of them have the exact same program. If you haven’t been to Sports Camp or are wondering what takes place, I’ve posted the video below of Day 1 of Sports Camp Ozora Campus. A big THANK YOU goes out to Justin Wojtczak from www.375photography.com for his hard work and passion to capture Sports Camp on video. BTW, I especially love his drone shots.
Hey, here’s the main reason I’m posting this blog. Tonight, we will clearly share the gospel of Jesus with the older group of kids (3rd-5th graders). We will have trained staff members and volunteers ready to talk with each child one on one. Let’s pray for God to open their hearts and for dozens of kids to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This is what it’s about and why we do what we do. Game on!
