I don’t know about you, but I love to celebrate. Sometimes, I’m low key about it. I might fist bump a staff member. Other times I might get down on one knee and crank the lawn mower like Novak Djokovic. I have never dabbed. I guess I’m of an older generation. Speaking of, one of my favorite ways to celebrate is to do a little spontaneous break dancing. I call it my happy dance. The Graystone staff love this. I think it causes some of them to experience “secondhand embarrassment”.
Yesterday on the blog we celebrated baptisms from last Sunday at Graystone Church. We have more reasons to celebrate. Last Sunday, over 40 adults attended our Newcomers Lunch. And 3 of those adults committed their lives to Jesus Christ for the first time. PRAISE GOD!
I’m really encouraged that so many families are taking steps to make Graystone Church their third place. Team, we have much to be thankful for and many reasons to celebrate. Let me encourage you today, to thank God for all that He is doing in and through our church. And after you give God all the glory, don’t be afraid to celebrate. Maybe you can break into a Happy Dance like Carlton and the Fresh Prince (See video below).
