I woke up this morning, and God changed my Christmas message. This is both good news and bad news. The bad news is that I am rewriting it right now. The good news is that it will be a powerful message for both the “churched” and the “unchurched”. And it’s typically “one of my good ones” when God changes it last minute.
The Christmas services at Graystone are for everyONE. And it’s the one time of the year that almost anyONE is willing to go to church. Christmas is about Jesus, and most people are fully aware of it. A recent poll came out and studies show that the majority of people who do not go to church would go if someone personally invited them.
Over the next couple of days, I want you to think of ONE person that you can invite to church for Christmas. Pray for him or her. And then make the ask. Go by their house and invite them. Pick up the phone and call him/her. Shoot them a text. Bring him or her with you.
Let’s do anything we can to get our friends and family to church this Christmas. But don’t go rogue and out of control like the kidnapper elves, Prancer and Dancer.
