Please pray for my Aunt Sissy as she battles pancreatic cancer.

With tears in my eyes and a sad heart, I have some disappointing news to report concerning my Aunt Sissy.  She was declared cancer free a few months ago, but now the pancreatic cancer has resurfaced and spread to her lungs.  She is standing strong in her faith and has decided to keep fighting cancer.   She began a new round of chemo yesterday.

Please pray for my Aunt Sissy.  Pray for God to give her strength and courage.  Pray for God to heal her and to continue to do miracles in her life, family, and church.

Aunt Sissy lives in Hattiesburg, MS and over the years has watched many of my messages online.  She wants to visit Graystone, hear our band, and see me preach in person.  She is hoping to come on Sunday, August 3.  Please pray that she will feel up to the trip after going through 3 weeks of chemo.

 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

  1. Jonathan, I saw your prayer request yesterday on the prayer list and immediately started praying for your Aunt. I pray the chemo works and is not too hard on her. I look forward to meeting her in August. Praying for you!!!

  2. Jonathan, prayers are being lifted up for your Aunt Sissy with each new day. I am sorry to hear that it has come back. We will pray for healing, for strength and for the Medical Staff taking care of her! I also pray that she will be able to come on August 3rd that the Lord will strengthen her even though she will be in her 3rd week of chemo. Continue to encourage her and tell her that we have a “big family” at Graystone that is waiting to meet her on August 3rd. Praying for you and the family!
