God uses a team of people to see one life changed for all eternity!

Let me share a quick story of God using a team of people to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).

Over the Thanksgiving holidays a family at Graystone reached out to an acquaintance.  They found out that he would be alone over the Thanksgiving holidays, so they invited him to Graystone and to their house for a meal.  He didn’t go to their house, but he did come to Graystone.  He felt incredibly welcomed by EVERYONE at Graystone, and he said he felt like the message was speaking directly to him.  He has not missed a service since.  He even came the Children’s Christmas program.

Over the last 2 months this family continued to reach out and care for him.  In the meantime, one of his coworkers who also goes to Graystone has been sharing with him about a relationship with Jesus.  On Tuesday night at Joelan’s basketball game, I ran into him (divine appointment).  He shared with me that he was on the wrong path and didn’t know how to get on God’s path.  He’s been thinking about it since my week 1 message of Life Hacks.  We set up an appointment for him to come by my office.

Yesterday, I shared with him that Jesus is the only way to Heaven.  Jesus is the path.  And he prayed to commit his life to follow Jesus.  I gave him a bible.  And we talked about him joining a men’s small group.

This is a great example of each person doing his or her part in the body of Christ “to know God and make God known”.  He said that one of the things that impacted him was me saying that “We are not perfect.”  This made him feel better because he has made many mistakes in life.  Thank you to EVERYONE who gives and serves at Graystone.  God is using you to change lives for all eternity.

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.  So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-7
