A New Kidney

William and Charlotte George began attending Graystone Church last year.  If you have not met them, they are an older couple who sit in the back right (stage right) during the first service.  The first Sunday I met Mr. George, he said that he needed a new kidney and asked me to help him find a donor.  I told him that I didn’t know any donors, but I could pray for him.  We prayed together that day, and he has been on my prayer list and the Graystone prayer list for months.

Well, guess who showed up last Sunday morning at Graystone with a new kidney?  You guessed it!  PRAISE GOD!  God is still in the miracle business, and He is answering prayers daily.  What are you trusting God for?

What can I pray for you?

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” Jesus (John 16:24)

  1. I have recently decided to under go back surgery. I’ve been dealing with cronic back pain since I was 15 and I’ve battled through it time and time again. Well, this time it’s not that easy. I’ve ruptured a disk and the steriod injections have not worked. The surgical procedure that I’m having on May 3rd has a very high success rate. I’ve located one of the best surgeons in this field and I’ve done all of the research to feel more comfortable with my decision, however nothing can seem to take away the fear and anxiety that I am having about this surgery. I’m 32 with a very active lifestyle. My kids are still young and very active as well. I’m doing this for my wonderful wife, my future and my kids, but I am so scared. On top of all of this, I am temporarily out of work due to the amount of constant pain that I’m in. Unfortunately disability doesn’t pay much. I have and will continue to pray and put my trust in God. I believe with all that I am that the Lord will see me through this. Please put my family and I on your prayer list.

  2. This is wonderful news and one I’m glad you shared with your flock. As a part of the prayer team, it is great heartwarming news to know how God is answering our prayers.

  3. George, Praise the Lord, we are so happy to hear these prayers have been answered for you! As a member of the Prayer Team it is so wonderful when we hear that the Lord has answered our prayers with blessings and praises to Him!

Tito, we will be praying for you and your family! You and your family have so much that you are faced with, and yet, you have such a positive attitude, what an example to others of your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ! Yes, Tito, pray without ceasing in trusting God throughout this time! We will add you to the Graystone Family Prayer List.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God; my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
