Pray bold specific prayers

In the Fall, a friend of mine shared with me his desire to have a son (He has 2 daughters.).  His passion in life is to leave a godly heritage, and he wanted a son to pass on his name sake.  So I, along with our men’s discipleship group, joined him in trusting God to bless him with a son.

This has been my one prayer that I have prayed for him almost every day.  Well, his wife is pregnant, and they found out Tuesday that they are having a son.  PRAISE GOD!

Let me encourage you to pray bold specific prayers.  God is still in the miracle business.  Be persistent.

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 NLT

  1. AMEN! PRAISE THE LORD!

We, too had another prayer answered this weekend that was a PRAISE! Our youngest son has always prayed for the Lord’s will in his life. He worked for Chick-fil-a for 8 years, then felt that the Lord was calling him to join the Air Force Reserve. He stepped out in faith and did this last August. He graduated from the Air Force Academy April 8th and had been talking with Chick-fil-a Corp. as he has always had an interest in doing CAD and they were expressing an interest in possibly having an opening the middle of April. We found out Saturday that he got the job!
We have been praying about this for over six months now. He has been for several interviews and still has to finish some of his college courses but they told him that was no problem, they wanted him ON BOARD! PRAISE THE LORD!

    YES! KEEP ON ASKING!
