(Heath Hollandsworth is Graystone’s Program Director.)
First off, I want to address what everyone’s been asking me for the last two weeks – “Heath, is it true you are dating Jennifer Aniston?”
And the answer is no. We are actually “boyfriend/girlfriend”. We made it official last night over the phone. (I know…I’m pretty excited as well.)
Both of my older brothers have married older women. One by three years. The other by one. And it has worked out great for both. So in light of that, I made a vow that the next girl I took on a date should be of more years than me. And sure enough, Rachel (I mean, Jennifer) fits that description. She is 16 years my elder.
In other news…
Christmas is right around the corner. I love it. And I understand some of you are those “What about Thanksgiving?” people. You honestly think Thanksgiving is better than Christmas. Now I enjoy Turkey Day as much as the next guy and I don’t want this to seem like I’m hatin’ on it…but there is no comparison. Christmas wins every time, my friends. Does Thanksgiving have a day devoted to being the day before the day? No. But Christmas does. It’s called Christmas Eve.
And if you haven’t heard yet, Graystone will be having three identical Candlelight Christmas Eve services on that day. Go ahead and start making your plans. 2:00pm – 3:30pm – 5:00pm
This Sunday we will be continuing our series, “Hope Epidemic”. Last week we talked about what it means to have hope – hope that God has so graciously given us. This Sunday we will examine what it means to give this hope to others.
Even though Christmas does trump Thanksgiving, I hope you guys do have a wonderful next few days spending time with family and friends. I know I will.
Jen is coming over to meet the family. So please pray it goes well. It’s always nerve-racking when your new girl meets what you hope to be her future in-laws. Especially when she has a net worth of 120 million dollars.
