Last Sunday at Graystone was one of my favorite services of the year. Chris and Linda Stanifer and their family surprised us with a visit. I cannot tell you how much they mean to me for the vital role they played in the early days of Graystone Church. They are “salt of the earth”.
During the service, KATB led us in a great acoustic worship set singing some classic hymns of the faith. Then, Church Planter John Reeves, Vanilla Ice accent and all…”dude is crazy”, challenged us to have our eyes open and look for God-ordained opportunities to love our neighbor. His modern day youtube version of the story of the Good Samaritan captivated EVERYONE’s attention.
Do you know your neighbor’s name?
Please pray this week for all of the students, volunteers and staff at Summer Camps. There are approximately 150 folks at Centr-kid (pre-teen), Centri-fuge (middle school), and Look Up Lodge (high school). Let’s pray for God to do only what He can do…CHANGE HEARTS!
Speaking of hearts, God has laid a powerful message on my mine for this Sunday. It has been brewing in “my bones” for a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait to share it with you. Lord willing, it will be “one of my good ones”.
